The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ion Amuguroancei during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Saranga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ion Amuguroancei to maneuver through the defense. Gigel Vintilescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Iacob Homeag tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iacob Homeag prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iacob Homeag showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Hurezan in the 35th minute of the match. Horea Silişteanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Schipor having to interfere. After having played for 47 minutes, Nistor Ştefănescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saranga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nistor Ştefănescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Horea Silişteanu was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Los Pollos Hermanos ★DAC★ got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Octavian. In the 62nd minute, Romeo Octavian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferdinand Schipor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nistor Ştefănescu in the 63rd minute of the match. Ferdinand Schipor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nistor Ştefănescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gigi Manciulea hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. When Nistor Ştefănescu came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Saranga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horea Silişteanu couldn't finish the play. The referee ignored Saranga FC's protests and gave Adam Georgescu a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of Saranga FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Los Pollos Hermanos ★DAC★:s goal. Los Pollos Hermanos ★DAC★ were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Saranga FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Corneliu Buteanu took the corner. The corner led Los Pollos Hermanos ★DAC★'s Corneliu Buteanu to fire away a dangerous shot which Iacob Homeag despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gigel Vintilescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 96 minutes, Adam Enciulescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saranga FC and the Los Pollos Hermanos ★DAC★ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adam Enciulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
