Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mihail Codreanu made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd minute, Mihail Codreanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Doru Nicea fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zarneni's protests and gave Doru Nicea a yellow card for diving instead. Doru Nicea kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Nistor Ştefănescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augustin Geangu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mihail Codreanu succeeded in the game's 22nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Iacob Homeag showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihail Codreanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Nistor Ştefănescu scored 1-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Augustin Geangu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Augustin Geangu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horea Silişteanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Mihail Codreanu struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Iacob Homeag didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zarneni. Augustin Geangu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horea Silişteanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augustin Geangu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horea Silişteanu in the 45th minute of play. Augustin Geangu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horea Silişteanu in the 46th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horea Silişteanu in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augustin Geangu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horea Silişteanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Zarneni's goalkeeper Augustin Geangu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nistor Ştefănescu. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Mihail Codreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zarneni's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihail Codreanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iacob Homeag breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roch Wallach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Iacob Homeag tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doru Nicea got his second yellow card in the match during the 59th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Zarneni getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Doru Nicea hit a great ball. Roch Wallach might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iacob Homeag. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roch Wallach ran back to his position shaking his head. Roch Wallach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iacob Homeag showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roch Wallach in the 65th minute of the match. Roch Wallach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Horea Silişteanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augustin Geangu was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Iacob Homeag showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roch Wallach in the 78th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Zarneni's Octavian Gherase got a free kick in the 81st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nistor Ştefănescu got free with Augustin Geangu in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Mihail Codreanu came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Zarneni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mihail Codreanu couldn't finish the play. Mihail Codreanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iacob Homeag read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. With a little luck, Zarneni's Augustin Geangu got control of the ball when Nistor Ştefănescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Zarneni lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
