When Mihail Codreanu came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Zarneni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mihail Codreanu couldn't finish the play. Ferdinand Schipor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihail Codreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Los Pollos Hermanos ★DAC★ booed when Zarneni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marijus Grubliauskas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marijus Grubliauskas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ferdinand Schipor. Los Pollos Hermanos ★DAC★'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 18th minute Gigel Vintilescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augustin Geangu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferdinand Schipor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mihail Codreanu's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Los Pollos Hermanos ★DAC★ getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Ciprian Covaliu hit a great ball. With a little luck, Zarneni's Augustin Geangu got control of the ball when Aron Hurezan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Los Pollos Hermanos ★DAC★ booed when Zarneni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristi Drăgan didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Roch Wallach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Los Pollos Hermanos ★DAC★'s goal looked a bit too open when Mihail Codreanu came free, but Ferdinand Schipor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th match minute, Zarneni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavian Gherase to maneuver through the defense. Gigel Vintilescu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Augustin Geangu came out and tried to block the shot, but Gigel Vintilescu slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute, Isac Angheluță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the match, Los Pollos Hermanos ★DAC★'s goalkeeper Ferdinand Schipor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Octavian Gherase. After having played for 56 minutes, Mihail Codreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zarneni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihail Codreanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Ferdinand Schipor managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Zarneni's Mihail Codreanu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. John Sundström kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Roch Wallach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ferdinand Schipor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Roch Wallach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 78 minutes, Mihail Codreanu made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Los Pollos Hermanos ★DAC★'s Ferdinand Schipor tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Los Pollos Hermanos ★DAC★'s zone, Mihail Codreanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferdinand Schipor came out of the goal and Mihail Codreanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Augustin Geangu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigel Vintilescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute Aron Hurezan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augustin Geangu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roch Wallach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Schipor having to interfere. In the 93rd play minute Mihail Codreanu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ferdinand Schipor. 2-4. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 2-5 when Mihail Codreanu sped through Los Pollos Hermanos ★DAC★'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ferdinand Schipor. Zarneni's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
