Vintilă Jumancă made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Doru Burca sent off a good shot on target. Vintilă Jumancă didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sabin Aronescu went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 7 minutes into the match, FC Satelitii's goal looked a bit too open when Iustin Jder came free, but Iosif Brășneanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Costel Bodnar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. INTER PETRILA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Satelitii the free kick. Costel Bodnar kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Iosif Brășneanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustin Jder, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute of the match F.C. INTER PETRILA got a corner. FC Satelitii's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Paul Amărculesei ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vintilă Jumancă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Niculcea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iosif Brășneanu came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. INTER PETRILA's Iustin Jder. But to his dismay, Iustin Jder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A collision led to F.C. INTER PETRILA getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Nae Moți hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Robert Angelescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Iustin Jder notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of FC Satelitii's Iosif Brășneanu. Iosif Brășneanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Iosif Brășneanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dumitru Paraschiv in the 41st minute of the match. Iosif Brășneanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustin Jder, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Vintilă Jumancă made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Cazimir Tudorică sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th minute Felix Niculcea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vintilă Jumancă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabin Aronescu in the 47th minute of play forced F.C. INTER PETRILA's goalkeeper Vintilă Jumancă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The supporters of F.C. INTER PETRILA booed when FC Satelitii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marin Ionașcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the FC Satelitii defense, Dumitru Paraschiv kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iosif Brășneanu. The FC Satelitii fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iosif Brășneanu should have stopped the shot. In the 57th minute, F.C. INTER PETRILA's Vaino Aller seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vaino Aller the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of F.C. INTER PETRILA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vaino Aller had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 57 minutes into the game, one of F.C. INTER PETRILA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dorin Amânaloae shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Vintilă Jumancă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabin Aronescu in the 68th minute of play. After a rather tough play, F.C. INTER PETRILA's Robert Angelescu got a free kick in the 69th minute. After a rather tough play, F.C. INTER PETRILA's Dumitru Paraschiv got a free kick in the 73rd minute. If Dumitru Paraschiv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as F.C. INTER PETRILA's Dumitru Paraschiv slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Iosif Brășneanu. That made the score 1-4 after 83 minutes of play. Sabin Aronescu scored 2-4 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vintilă Jumancă, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Costel Bodnar kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Chants of F.C. INTER PETRILA echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as FC Satelitii had held the ball for most of the match.
