Nicodim Ciobanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vali Tâlvescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The supporters of CF GLORIA BISTRITA 1922 booed when Carbunesti UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costel Chirilă didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gheorghe Orghidan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Ostoici came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by CF GLORIA BISTRITA 1922's Leonard Tincu. But to his dismay, Leonard Tincu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Nicodim Ciobanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narcis Paraschivescu in the 36th minute. Narcis Paraschivescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicodim Ciobanu having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vali Tâlvescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Lucrețiu Pipirig kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Vali Tâlvescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Nicodim Ciobanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narcis Paraschivescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Octav Bostan kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 71st match minute, CF GLORIA BISTRITA 1922 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octav Bostan to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Narcis Paraschivescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carbunesti UFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. If Narcis Paraschivescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to CF GLORIA BISTRITA 1922 getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Lucrețiu Pipirig hit a great ball. Gabriel Ostoici made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Gheorghe Orghidan sent off a good shot on target. Carbunesti UFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
