With an all-out effort, AZ DOROHOI's Renaldo Holley threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bogdan Claudiescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 17th match minute, Buriasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Balc to maneuver through the defense. Gelu Jurcuț hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Buriasi's Renaldo Holley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Buriasi from getting a goal against them. The supporters of AZ DOROHOI booed when Buriasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mădălin Hojbota didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pavel Chibulcutean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cezar Gogea charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cezar Gogea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cezar Gogea kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. If Pavel Chibulcutean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mădălin Teodor's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Renaldo Holley skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mădălin Teodor in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Renaldo Holley, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Buriasi's Mădălin Hojbota got his second yellow card of the match in the 45th minute. The referee ordered Mădălin Hojbota off the ground. In the 46th minute, Mădălin Hojbota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Mihnea Brânzaș in the 46th minute really tested Renaldo Holley's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pavel Chibulcutean stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pavel Chibulcutean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But to his dismay, Bogdan Claudiescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 85 played minutes AZ DOROHOI got a freekick which was hit by Mihai Bacalbașa. Pavel Chibulcutean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionel Iuga having to interfere. Ionel Iuga came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Buriasi's Pavel Chibulcutean. But to his dismay, Pavel Chibulcutean quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Buriasi had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
