Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Andrei Honciu made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5th match minute, The Unity BvB 09 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihăiţă Aldulescu to maneuver through the defense. Andrei Honciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Ciomag having to interfere. Andrei Honciu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Marcel Ciomag tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Unity BvB 09's Marcel Ciomag played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrei Honciu in the 15th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Egert Laisk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zimbrul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Mihăiţă Aldulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Egert Laisk took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcel Ciomag. Marcel Ciomag dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Andrei Honciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Ciomag having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, one of Zimbrul:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Niculae Datcu had in the 35thth minute some difficulties stopping Flavius Neculuță's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Andrei Honciu struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Marcel Ciomag didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zimbrul. After having played for 47 minutes, Mihăiţă Aldulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Unity BvB 09's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihăiţă Aldulescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stelian Hobjilă to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Mihăiţă Aldulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Datcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sever Buznea in the 59th minute of play forced Zimbrul's goalkeeper Niculae Datcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrei Honciu charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrei Honciu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of The Unity BvB 09 booed when Zimbrul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrei Honciu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niculae Datcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihăiţă Aldulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66thth minute of the game Mihăiţă Aldulescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zimbrul's Niculae Datcu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcel Ciomag made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Andrei Honciu sent off a good shot on target. Zimbrul's Tudor Văleanu got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Andrei Honciu came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Zimbrul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrei Honciu couldn't finish the play. A sloppy throw-in by Radu Banu in the 75th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Zimbrul's Tudor Văleanu. The Unity BvB 09's Marcel Ciomag proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save The Unity BvB 09 from getting a goal against them. Niculae Datcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sever Buznea, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Niculae Datcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihăiţă Aldulescu in the 85th minute of play. Costică Gherguț struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Marcel Ciomag didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zimbrul.
