Petru Ivan hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, one of Uileacu:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Uileacu. In the 7th minute there was a penalty for Pinticesti AS. Aron Răchitan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ionel Receanu. 1-0. After 13 played minutes Uileacu got a freekick which was hit by Petru Ivan. Ionel Receanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Gheorghiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uileacu's Șerban Nițisor got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Gheorghiu in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ionel Receanu saved Uileacu from getting behind. Marian Ciulei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Șerban Nițisor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduard Arsene read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Marian Ciulei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Eduard Arsene tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Gheorghiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Gheorghiu made a kick off. Șerban Nițisor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduard Arsene having to interfere. If Gabriel Gheorghiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marian Ciulei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduard Arsene having to interfere. Șerban Nițisor had several of the Pinticesti AS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 67 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Eduard Arsene as he didn't even see the shot coming. Șerban Nițisor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduard Arsene having to interfere. Ionel Receanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Gheorghiu's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Marian Roșeanu charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marian Roșeanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th match minute, Pinticesti AS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marian Roșeanu to maneuver through the defense. If Marian Ciulei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florin Bulgar in the 90th minute of play forced Uileacu's goalkeeper Ionel Receanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Adam Duldurescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Nicolae Budulea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uileacu's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolae Budulea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduard Arsene breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pinticesti AS's Eduard Arsene proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Pinticesti AS from getting a goal against them. When Șerban Nițisor came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Uileacu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Șerban Nițisor couldn't finish the play. The Pinticesti AS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Uileacu's performance. The match ended with a win for Uileacu.
