An unexpectedly hard shot by Gearroid O'Neill in the 6th minute of play forced FC Red Wolf's goalkeeper Virgil Iosifian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomaž Benedičič sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Virgil Iosifian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomaž Benedičič, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ideea booed when FC Red Wolf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octav Domnescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Albert Colceriu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Doru Chirilă was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Iacob Boieru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Virgil Iosifian was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. After 41 minutes, Ştefan Finteșteanu made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Red Wolf's Virgil Iosifian tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to FC Red Wolf getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Denis Trăilă hit a great ball. If Tomaž Benedičič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. Tomaž Benedičič sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gearroid O'Neill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgil Iosifian having to interfere. Tomaž Benedičič struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Virgil Iosifian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ideea. Gearroid O'Neill's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgil Iosifian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ideea's zone, Matei Balc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doru Chirilă came out of the goal and Matei Balc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Red Wolf succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ideea had controlled the match.
