Nistor Slicaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Zidarii booed when Haraul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavel Bosioc didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costin Bostan in the 7th minute of play forced Haraul's goalkeeper Nistor Slicaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ionuț Răduț fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zidarii's protests and gave Ionuț Răduț a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute, one of Zidarii:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zidarii. A collision led to Haraul getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Alin Deleanu hit a great ball. Zidarii's Vasile Stanomir got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Haraul's zone, Costin Bostan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nistor Slicaru came out of the goal and Costin Bostan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alin Deleanu got his second yellow card in the match during the 22nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 23rd match minute, Haraul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alin Deleanu to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Costin Bostan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nistor Slicaru. Haraul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Costin Bostan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 28 minutes into the game, Denis Zbanţ was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zidarii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haraul the free kick. A collision led to Zidarii getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Denis Zbanţ hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eugen Penescu during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Zidarii's Eugen Penescu got a free kick in the 31st minute. Augustin Geantă charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augustin Geantă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Haraul booed when Zidarii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augustin Geantă didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Vasile Stanomir took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Nistor Slicaru to make any attempt to save it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Costin Bostan was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Haraul's goal looked a bit too open when Costin Bostan came free, but Nistor Slicaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Zidarii's Vasile Stanomir sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nistor Slicaru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 55 minutes, Costin Bostan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zidarii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Costin Bostan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Costin Bostan struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Nistor Slicaru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zidarii. Nistor Slicaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costin Bostan, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Zidarii's Vasile Stanomir got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Costin Bostan struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Nistor Slicaru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zidarii. After 88 played minutes Haraul got a freekick which was hit by Teodor Semeghin. Zidarii's Vasile Stanomir got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Zidarii were the better team. Zidarii's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
