After 3 played minutes F.C.Liverpool got a freekick which was hit by Valer Slicaru. Ion Ştoia struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Octavian Golumbean didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C.Liverpool. Filip Porumboiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Golumbean having to interfere. If Marcel Durbacă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Galeteanu's goal looked a bit too open when Basarab Geambașu came free, but Octavian Golumbean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petru Tilea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Grozăvescu having to interfere. Galeteanu's Octavian Golumbean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Porumboiu in the 29th minute of play. When F.C.Liverpool's Ion Ştoia in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Galeteanu's goalie prevented a goal. After 35 minutes of play, F.C.Liverpool's Filip Porumboiu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Octavian Golumbean was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half F.C.Liverpool were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Petru Tilea to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, F.C.Liverpool's Augustin Bunescu got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Galeteanu's Lucian Diaconu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Galeteanu's Octavian Golumbean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ion Ştoia in the 58th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ion Ştoia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octavian Golumbean was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. The supporters of F.C.Liverpool booed when Galeteanu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucian Diaconu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Galeteanu's Marcel Durbacă got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ion Ştoia kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. If Petru Tilea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcel Durbacă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Galeteanu's Octavian Golumbean got control of the ball when Filip Porumboiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcel Durbacă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. George Grozăvescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
