In the 17th minute, Bogdan Goșa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rapid CFR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Răzvan Onitiu came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Rapid CFR fans jumped to their feet. Anton Dobrin made a great header on Rapid CFR's corner, it was just that SEGO's Emanuel Otopeanu managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match was over Rapid CFR could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SEGO throughout the match.
