The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bosanceni's Rareș Varga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Bosanceni from getting a goal against them. Narcis Prisecaru was extremely unlucky when he, in the 5th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Narcis Prisecaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rareș Varga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Aplugăriței in the 10th minute. Narcis Prisecaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Narcis Prisecaru fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Slavici in the 20th minute of play forced As Roma's goalkeeper David Kjellman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, As Roma's Felix Aplugăriței sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rareș Varga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felix Aplugăriței fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rareș Varga having to interfere. As Roma's Narcis Prisecaru got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the game, Felix Aplugăriței cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Rareș Varga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emilian Burghelea hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Rareș Varga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narcis Prisecaru in the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Narcis Prisecaru dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rareș Varga, 2-0. As Roma's Narcis Prisecaru got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Eugen Tarcea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Rareș Varga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narcis Prisecaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Bosanceni's Rareș Varga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Aplugăriței in the 64th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narcis Prisecaru in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rareș Varga saved Bosanceni from getting behind. Rareș Varga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narcis Prisecaru in the 69th minute of the match. The As Roma fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when As Roma's Narcis Prisecaru looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Narcis Prisecaru's late challenge caught a Bosanceni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Narcis Prisecaru helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to As Roma getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Narcis Prisecaru hit a great ball. Eugen Tarcea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelian Drăghici charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurelian Drăghici the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to As Roma getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Aurelian Drăghici hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the match, As Roma's Narcis Prisecaru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rareș Varga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of As Roma booed when Bosanceni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Slavici didn't get a good kick on the ball. 97 minutes into the match, As Roma's Felix Aplugăriței sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rareș Varga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the As Roma players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
