Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Iulian Mihuleac took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 9th minute, Iulian Mihuleac made a precise shot to the right of Remus Matei. Mihaleni AS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 16 minutes in the game, Grigore Mitescu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ştefan Răzvan having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Berbesu's Gigel Ticulescu got a free kick in the 18th minute. If Gigi Urderean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Mihaleni AS's goal looked a bit too open when Cezar Firoiu came free, but Remus Matei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ştefan Răzvan came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mihaleni AS's Gigi Urderean. But to his dismay, Gigi Urderean quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A collision led to Berbesu getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Romeo Urdea hit a great ball. With a little luck, Berbesu's Ştefan Răzvan got control of the ball when Gigi Urderean tried to sneak it across the goal line. Grigore Mitescu struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Ştefan Răzvan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mihaleni AS. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Grigore Mitescu to make the kick off. Berbesu's Ştefan Răzvan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigore Mitescu in the 58th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Mihaleni AS's Gigi Urderean sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ştefan Răzvan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ştefan Răzvan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigore Mitescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Remus Matei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iulian Mihuleac, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Berbesu's Ştefan Răzvan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigore Mitescu in the 85th minute of play. Cezar Firoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Remus Matei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
