The audience was convinced that Claudiu Pușcariu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iordache Negru was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. After 33 played minutes Telesmani got a freekick which was hit by Ilie Mumuleanu. Claudiu Pușcarius short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Iordache Negru to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ilie Mumuleanu during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. George Bivolaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrei Giurcă in the 38th minute of the match. Iordache Negru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudiu Pușcariu's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Ionuț Vergulescu struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Iordache Negru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Telesmani. Iordache Corlățean charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iordache Corlățean the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Telesmani's Iordache Corlățean got a free kick in the 73rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrei Giurcă in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg George Bivolaru saved Telesmani from getting behind. 78 minutes into the match, City Night 2020's goal looked a bit too open when Ionuț Vergulescu came free, but Iordache Negru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ionuț Vergulescu in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iordache Negru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ionuț Vergulescu took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iordache Negru. Iordache Negru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Corneliu Busuioc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. George Bivolaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. City Night 2020's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
