Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Constantin Petriceanu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 6 minutes into the game, Victor Lera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Callatis Mangalia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gavanu AFC the free kick. A collision led to Callatis Mangalia FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Victor Lera hit a great ball. If Ernest Pintilescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Șerban Chevereșan kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Constantin Petriceanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristi Niculescu hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. The supporters of Gavanu AFC booed when Callatis Mangalia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stelian Claudiescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mugur Asachi scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcel Stănciulaş, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Mugur Asachi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gavanu AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mugur Asachi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcel Stănciulaş breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Callatis Mangalia FC's zone, Cristi Niculescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcel Stănciulaş came out of the goal and Cristi Niculescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Mugur Asachi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Callatis Mangalia FC's Iustin Costea got a free kick in the 36th minute. Dacian Beligan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcel Stănciulaş. Callatis Mangalia FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mugur Asachi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Callatis Mangalia FC's goalkeeper Marcel Stănciulaş, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Cristi Niculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mugur Asachi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Marcel Stănciulaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Cristi Niculescu made the kick off in the second half. Șerban Chevereșan hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Cristi Niculescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 82nd match minute, Gavanu AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Calota to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute of the match Dacian Beligan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcel Stănciulaş showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gavanu AFC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
