Albert Grozăvescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nichifor Cartiș in the 41st minute of the match. Nichifor Mustăcilă was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 43 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nichifor Cartiș stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Aurel Urdea dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Albert Grozăvescu, 1-4. 54 minutes into the match, Fringhesti's goalkeeper Albert Grozăvescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nichifor Cartiș. In the 66th match minute, Fringhesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Ghiurutan to maneuver through the defense. If Nichifor Cartiș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 72 minutes, Aurel Urdea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CSM ROMAN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurel Urdea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Albert Grozăvescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nichifor Cartiș's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. If Cristinel Ghiurutan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 80 minutes, Aurel Urdea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CSM ROMAN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurel Urdea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute, CSM ROMAN's Nichifor Cartiș ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Albert Grozăvescu. Albert Grozăvescu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Albert Grozăvescu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aurel Urdea showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 84 minute of play. The supporters of CSM ROMAN booed when Fringhesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Codruț Beșleaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. CSM ROMAN's Nichifor Cartiș couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 90th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Fringhesti. In the 92nd minute, Nichifor Cartiș made a precise shot to the right of Albert Grozăvescu. Fringhesti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-7. When Nichifor Cartiș came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the CSM ROMAN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nichifor Cartiș couldn't finish the play.
