Ion Păvăloae charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, Scobalteni CSM's Octavian Cazimir got a free kick in the 6th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Mădălin Hurmuz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scobalteni CSM's supporters rose to their feet, but Mădălin Hurmuz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vali Antipa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iurie Tilincă struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Albert Cucerdean didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ANOSR. Vali Antipa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mădălin Hurmuz's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Bogdan Scripcaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Vali Antipa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Damian Craia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iurie Tilincă to make the kick off. When Mădălin Hurmuz came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Scobalteni CSM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mădălin Hurmuz couldn't finish the play. After having played for 58 minutes, Iurie Tilincă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ANOSR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iurie Tilincă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ANOSR's Vali Antipa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mădălin Hurmuz in the 66th minute of play. After 68 minutes, Mădălin Hurmuz made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. ANOSR's Vali Antipa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Iurie Tilincă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bogdan Scripcaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vali Antipa having to interfere. After 88 played minutes ANOSR got a freekick which was hit by Nicodim Papadima. If Bogdan Scripcaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mădălin Hurmuz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Scobalteni CSM players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
