Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Petru Amurăriței got the match started through his kick off. If Eduard Fecioru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Petru Amurăriței sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The attack was good, but when Petru Amurăriței in the 22nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Nae Bleoancă's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mihăiţă Doloman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Leontin Braia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Călin Bârlea, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Jiul's zone, Călin Bârlea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leontin Braia came out of the goal and Călin Bârlea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Călin Bârlea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leontin Braia having to interfere. Petru Amurăriței fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihăiţă Doloman having to interfere. Eduard Fecioru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Leontin Braia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eduard Fecioru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Jiul players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Left Hand of Devil were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Călin Bârlea was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Horaţiu Horea suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Vlad Chiuzbaian's late challenge caught a Jiul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vlad Chiuzbaian helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Left Hand of Devil's Vlad Chiuzbaian got a free kick in the 55th minute. Dinu Tremurici struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Mihăiţă Doloman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jiul. 65 minutes into the match, Left Hand of Devil's goal looked a bit too open when Nae Bleoancă came free, but Mihăiţă Doloman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Eduard Fecioru fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Eduard Fecioru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Leontin Braia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Călin Bârlea in the 74th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Eduard Fecioru's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Leontin Braia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Jiul booed when Left Hand of Devil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vlad Chiuzbaian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valeriu Constantin, 81 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Vlad Chiuzbaian kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Mihăiţă Doloman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nae Bleoancă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 played minutes Jiul got a freekick which was hit by Petru Amurăriței. If Călin Bârlea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leontin Braia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Călin Bârlea went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Leontin Braia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Călin Bârlea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Left Hand of Devil had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
