Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) FC EMAR's Mugur Cosariu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5thth minute of the game Mugur Cosariu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Babasesti's Isaac Norman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Olimpiu Curta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marian Gabor in the 7th minute of play. Babasesti's Isaac Norman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugur Cosariu in the 13th minute of play. Eugen Slicaru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Olimpiu Curta made a huge save. Mugur Cosariu scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isaac Norman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adam Mihălțan charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adam Mihălțan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC EMAR's Adam Mihălțan got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Claudiu Vergulescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olimpiu Curta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Claudiu Vergulescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isaac Norman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugur Cosariu, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudiu Vergulescu got free with Olimpiu Curta in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marian Gabor was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, FC EMAR's Eduard Onete sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaac Norman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eduard Onete recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Marian Gabor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isaac Norman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugur Cosariu in the 65th minute of the match. The throw-in from Leontin Tremurici in the 68th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC EMAR's Adam Mihălțan. 70 minutes in the game, Mugur Cosariu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Isaac Norman having to interfere. Eduard Onete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Norman having to interfere. Isaac Norman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gică Iuzbașa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Babasesti's Isaac Norman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugur Cosariu in the 74th minute of play. Isaac Norman was a little too slow when Gică Iuzbașa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 0-3. When Ştefan Târlea fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Babasesti's protests and gave Ştefan Târlea a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Babasesti getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ştefan Târlea hit a great ball. Mugur Cosariu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isaac Norman having to make a save. Marian Gabor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olimpiu Curta having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marian Gabor in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olimpiu Curta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The FC EMAR supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC EMAR would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
