Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alin Pârvuță took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dan Ghiorman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliodor Zbora, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Fundenii CF's goal looked a bit too open when Eliodor Zbora came free, but Dan Ghiorman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute Eliodor Zbora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Ghiorman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Marin Lăcătuș ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dan Ghiorman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Eliodor Zbora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Ghiorman having to interfere. Eugen Șişman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute Eliodor Zbora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Ghiorman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costel Tâbârnă lost his temper 26 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fundenii CF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! Petruț Zburlea shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. If Alin Pârvuță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute Eliodor Zbora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Ghiorman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fundenii CF's Dan Ghiorman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Fundenii CF from getting a goal against them. Dan Ghiorman was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Eliodor Zbora capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eliodor Zbora really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eliodor Zbora made a kick off. Dunarea Galati's Manuel Cioroianu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Dunarea Galati from getting a goal against them. In the 55th minute, Marin Lăcătuș made a precise shot to the right of Dan Ghiorman. Fundenii CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 59th minute, Eliodor Zbora got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alin Pârvuță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Manuel Cioroianu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Eliodor Zbora left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dunarea Galati fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 72 minutes into the match, Fundenii CF's goal looked a bit too open when Eliodor Zbora came free, but Dan Ghiorman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fundenii CF's Dan Ghiorman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Lăcătuș in the 78th minute of play. Codrin Vătăşel kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 83 played minutes Dunarea Galati got a freekick which was hit by Robert Stoleru. Eliodor Zbora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Ghiorman having to interfere. Eliodor Zbora struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Dan Ghiorman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dunarea Galati. Dunarea Galati's Eliodor Zbora got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dan Ghiorman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Lăcătuș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
