Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliodor Zbora during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 7 minutes into the match, Cotorman AC's Costel Cămărășescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Cioroianu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cotorman AC's Nechifor Munteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliodor Zbora in the 9th minute of play. In the 12th minute Eliodor Zbora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nechifor Munteanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Robert Stoleru recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nechifor Munteanu. Robert Stoleru showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Manuel Cioroianu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornel Păunescu in the 19th minute of play. If Costel Cămărășescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 22 minutes of play, Cotorman AC's Remus Chiliman made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Cioroianu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 24 played minutes Cotorman AC got a freekick which was hit by Silviu Cozorici. With 28 minutes on the clock, Leonard Mudura commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Cotorman AC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dunarea Galati:s goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Cornel Păunescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cotorman AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornel Păunescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Cioroianu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Remus Chiliman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Cioroianu having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Dunarea Galati's Robert Stoleru got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 43rd minute of the match, Eliodor Zbora tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nechifor Munteanu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The crowd rose to their feet as Dunarea Galati's Șerban Gavra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nechifor Munteanu. That made the score 3-1 after 44 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cornel Păunescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Șerban Gavra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Cornel Păunescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nechifor Munteanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Șerban Gavra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Șerban Gavra made a precise shot to the right of Nechifor Munteanu. Cotorman AC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Nechifor Munteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliodor Zbora in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Șerban Gavra in the 69th minute of play forced Cotorman AC's goalkeeper Nechifor Munteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cornel Păunescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the game, Dunarea Galati's Eliodor Zbora nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nechifor Munteanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. In the 75th minute Robert Stoleru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nechifor Munteanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nechifor Munteanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Stoleru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Cioroianu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornel Păunescu in the 78th minute of the match. Dunarea Galati's Manuel Cioroianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Chiliman in the 80th minute of play. After 82 minutes of play, Dunarea Galati's Șerban Gavra made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nechifor Munteanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Remus Chiliman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Manuel Cioroianu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Cotorman AC's goal looked a bit too open when Marin Lăcătuș came free, but Nechifor Munteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cotorman AC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dunarea Galati.
