Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Fundenii CF's Alin Pârvuță started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fundenii CF's Eugen Șişman got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the MAX TEAM defense, Alin Pârvuță kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucrețiu Turcan. The MAX TEAM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucrețiu Turcan should have stopped the shot. In the 11thth minute of the game Alin Pârvuță who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MAX TEAM's Lucrețiu Turcan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eugen Șişman scored 0-2 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucrețiu Turcan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 22 played minutes MAX TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Nicu Mateescu. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alin Pârvuță in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucrețiu Turcan saved MAX TEAM from getting behind. Toader Chiriacescu hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alin Pârvuță in the 31st minute of play forced MAX TEAM's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Turcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denis Stoican placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Nicu Mateescu's late challenge caught a Fundenii CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laurențiu Crainic made a kick off. Cazimir Trăilă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dan Ghiorman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cazimir Trăilă, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Lucrețiu Turcan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alin Pârvuță in the 61st minute. In the 66th minute Cazimir Trăilă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Ghiorman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Fundenii CF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of MAX TEAM:s goal. If Alin Pârvuță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Fundenii CF's goal looked a bit too open when Laurențiu Crainic came free, but Dan Ghiorman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fundenii CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Alin Pârvuță was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When the match was over Fundenii CF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than MAX TEAM throughout the match.
