Dorel Secoşan charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dorel Secoşan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd match minute, Golfinul UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorel Secoşan to maneuver through the defense. Constantin Spiridon hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Stelian Muncelean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduard Stroescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Sepsiszentgyörgy's goal looked a bit too open when Lucian Iureș came free, but Iulian Oprea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduard Stroescu couldn't finish the play. Tiberiu Agusoaei scored 0-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stelian Muncelean, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute, Golfinul UFC's Lucian Iureș ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iulian Oprea. Iulian Oprea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Sepsiszentgyörgy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Lucian Iureș scored to the left of an out of position Iulian Oprea, making the score, 2-2. After a rather tough play, Golfinul UFC's Dan Ghiță got a free kick in the 40th minute. Eduard Stroescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stelian Muncelean having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Golfinul UFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Agusoaei came free, but Stelian Muncelean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sepsiszentgyörgy booed when Golfinul UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Agârbiceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Sepsiszentgyörgy's Iulian Oprea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucian Iureș in the 55th minute of play. Golfinul UFC's Stelian Muncelean proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Golfinul UFC from getting a goal against them. In the 58th minute, Lucian Iureș left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golfinul UFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Eduard Stroescu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Stelian Muncelean firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 65th minute, Nicodim Abraham left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sepsiszentgyörgy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. After a defensive mix-up in Sepsiszentgyörgy's zone, Alex Agârbiceanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iulian Oprea came out of the goal and Alex Agârbiceanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Lucian Iureș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
