Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aurelian Păltineanu got the match started through his kick off. Doru Crișan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinand Covaci in the 3rd minute of the match. Ferdinand Covaci's late challenge caught a FC STEAUA BUCURESTI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferdinand Covaci helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th minute, Ferdinand Covaci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the game, Ferdinand Covaci cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Doru Crișan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in FC STEAUA BUCURESTI's zone, Martin Nedelea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doru Crișan came out of the goal and Martin Nedelea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute, Călin Apostu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Călin Apostu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ştefan Onciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurelian Păltineanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ştefan Onciu having to interfere. Red&Blue FC's Ştefan Onciu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Red&Blue FC from getting a goal against them. Nae Vârnav recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Florin Toader sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Red&Blue FC's goalkeeper Ştefan Onciu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aurelian Păltineanu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 33rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 35th minute, Nae Vârnav got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Red&Blue FC's Ştefan Onciu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nae Vârnav in the 36th minute of play. Călin Apostu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ştefan Onciu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Aurelian Păltineanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the match, Red&Blue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelian Păltineanu came free, but Ştefan Onciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Aurelian Păltineanu came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the FC STEAUA BUCURESTI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelian Păltineanu couldn't finish the play. The FC STEAUA BUCURESTI players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Red&Blue FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Nedelea to make the kick off. If Aurelian Păltineanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelian Păltineanu in the 57th minute of play forced Red&Blue FC's goalkeeper Ştefan Onciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Călin Apostu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ştefan Onciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ştefan Onciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelian Păltineanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Aurelian Păltineanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC STEAUA BUCURESTI's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelian Păltineanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ştefan Onciu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute, David Cârnu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David Cârnu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ştefan Onciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Călin Apostu, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. A collision led to Red&Blue FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ciprian Bărbătescu hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Aurelian Păltineanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Călin Apostu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see FC STEAUA BUCURESTI lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
