Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Pavel Buș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Dulgherescu in the 2nd minute of the match. Manuel Neicu lost his temper 4 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Laza CSS:s Dacian Stroiescu showed great skill when he stopped Valeriu Arotăriței:s penalty. Valeriu Arotăriței scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dacian Stroiescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Laza CSS's Dacian Stroiescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Laza CSS from getting a goal against them. Daniel Buzescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Grămescu kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Daniel Buzescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Pavel Buș was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Octavian Dridu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gică Săliştean in the 31st minute of play forced Laza CSS's goalkeeper Dacian Stroiescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Buzescu made a kick off. Octavian Dridu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Dacian Stroiescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Buzescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pavel Buș read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Chiojdeni's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Buzescu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Laza CSS booed when Chiojdeni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Gușatu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gică Săliştean came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Chiojdeni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gică Săliştean couldn't finish the play. Gică Săliştean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Dacian Stroiescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Chiojdeni getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Aron Gușatu hit a great ball. Pavel Buș was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gigi Cezar. When Daniel Buzescu came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Laza CSS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Buzescu couldn't finish the play. Daniel Buzescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Octavian Dridu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Laza CSS's goal looked a bit too open when Octavian Dridu came free, but Dacian Stroiescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dacian Stroiescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gică Săliştean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
