Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Vlad Toma made the kick off and thus started the match. After 4 played minutes FCSB got a freekick which was hit by Virgil Gâlcă. After 14 minutes, Andrei Neața made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Langenfeld CSS's Ionuț Apostu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ionuț Apostu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrei Neața went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Pavel Albescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Andrei Neața's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ionuț Apostu was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. After having played for 28 minutes, Ovidiu Stoiculescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FCSB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidiu Stoiculescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Codruț Argăseală hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. If Andrei Neața had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pavel Albescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 39 minutes into the match, FCSB's goalkeeper Ion Stere had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filip Blănaru. Langenfeld CSS's Ionuț Apostu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinu Vulturar in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Langenfeld CSS's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidiu Stoiculescu came free, but Ionuț Apostu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pavel Albescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionuț Apostu having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrei Neața to strike the kick off in the second half. A hard shot by Cezar Beligan from long distance, 55 minutes into the match, got Ionuț Apostu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Luca Vâlceanu's late challenge caught a FCSB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luca Vâlceanu helped the player get up and apologised. FCSB made a substitution. Horea Cluceru replaced Cezar Beligan. Luca Vâlceanu hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Andrei Neața's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Ionuț Apostu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Andrei Neața came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the FCSB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrei Neața couldn't finish the play. Andrei Neața hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Cătălin Şendrea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Florin Postolache managed to get in a good position for a shot. Langenfeld CSS's supporters rose to their feet, but Florin Postolache was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ion Stere breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codruț Argăseală in the 81st minute of play forced FCSB's goalkeeper Ion Stere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pavel Albescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionuț Apostu having to interfere. After 86 minutes, Dinu Vulturar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FCSB and the Langenfeld CSS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dinu Vulturar hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codruț Argăseală in the 87th minute of play forced FCSB's goalkeeper Ion Stere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cătălin Şendrea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidiu Stoiculescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FCSB's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
