The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Costică Stan came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by BJK Dinamo Bucuresti's Mircea Ailenei. But to his dismay, Mircea Ailenei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Mircea Ailenei in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Costică Stan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Vali Rădoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the match, BJK Dinamo Bucuresti's goal looked a bit too open when Horaţiu Arseni came free, but Isac Cezariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isac Cezariu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horaţiu Arseni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Costică Stan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mircea Ailenei in the 30th minute of the match. Costică Stan was a little too slow when Mircea Ailenei got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 4-0. Mircea Ailenei in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Costică Stan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mircea Ailenei was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind ASC Rapid Dobroiesti's goalkeeper Costică Stan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mircea Ailenei in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Costică Stan saved ASC Rapid Dobroiesti from getting behind. Vali Rădoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costică Stan having to interfere. Mircea Ailenei struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Costică Stan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BJK Dinamo Bucuresti. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mircea Ailenei in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Costică Stan saved ASC Rapid Dobroiesti from getting behind. BJK Dinamo Bucuresti's Isac Cezariu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Achifoaiei in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Achifoaiei in the 72nd minute of play forced BJK Dinamo Bucuresti's goalkeeper Isac Cezariu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olimpiu Ciordaș kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Mircea Ailenei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute, Constantin Manciulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Mircea Ailenei managed to get in a good position for a shot. BJK Dinamo Bucuresti's supporters rose to their feet, but Mircea Ailenei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Costică Stan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, BJK Dinamo Bucuresti's Vali Rădoi got a free kick in the 87th minute. Costică Stan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mircea Ailenei, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Mircea Ailenei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Costică Stan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. BJK Dinamo Bucuresti walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
