Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ovidiu Ioviță made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberiu Mărăcuță in the 3rd minute of play forced Minerul Baia Mare FC's goalkeeper Iustinian Buhăescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iustinian Buhăescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Cabral in the 7th minute of play. Iustinian Buhăescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiberiu Mărăcuță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Tiberiu Mărăcuță kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Iustinian Buhăescu. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Minerul Baia Mare FC's Petrică Chelaru quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Iustin Bivolaru, made in the 25th minute of the game. In the 27th minute, Manuel Dascălu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Minerul Baia Mare FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 32nd minute Sorin Plopșor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nae Firoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nae Firoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Prelipceanu in the 34th minute of play. Minerul Baia Mare FC's Iustinian Buhăescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberiu Mărăcuță in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Costy UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moise Barbăneagră to maneuver through the defense. George Jucu hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Marcos Sporring ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iustinian Buhăescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manuel Dascălu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Minerul Baia Mare FC got a freekick which was hit by Petrică Chelaru. After 53 played minutes, Costy UFC's Marcos Sporring shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iustinian Buhăescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Costy UFC reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Ovidiu Ioviță managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costy UFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ovidiu Ioviță was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iustinian Buhăescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute, one of Costy UFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Costy UFC. Nae Firoiu went to the wrong direction when Petrică Chelaru was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When Dragoş Comșa fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costy UFC's protests and gave Dragoş Comșa a yellow card for diving instead. Iustinian Buhăescu came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Costy UFC's Gonçalo Cabral. But to his dismay, Gonçalo Cabral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Ovidiu Ioviță succeeded in the game's 86th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-2. In the 90th minute Ovidiu Ioviță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iustinian Buhăescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nae Firoiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Dascălu in the 94th minute. After 100 minutes, Eduard Moculescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Minerul Baia Mare FC and the Costy UFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Minerul Baia Mare FC getting a freekick after 100 minutes play. Eduard Moculescu hit a great ball. Costy UFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Minerul Baia Mare FC for a fine match.
