The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Dascălu got free with Alex Itoafă in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 15 played minutes Minerul Baia Mare FC got a freekick which was hit by Florin Burileanu. In the 16th minute of the match Mugur Manu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iustinian Buhăescu skillfully saved the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Minerul Baia Mare FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maxim Cârnu came free, but Iustinian Buhăescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iustinian Buhăescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maxim Cârnu went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. F.C Chelsea Londra's Alex Itoafă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Dascălu in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Emanuel Uncheşu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alex Itoafă. Emanuel Uncheşu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. A collision led to Minerul Baia Mare FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Sorin Plopșor hit a great ball. Minerul Baia Mare FC's Iustinian Buhăescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osmar de Sena in the 42nd minute of play. Iustinian Buhăescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osmar de Sena in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Minerul Baia Mare FC's goal looked a bit too open when Osmar de Sena came free, but Iustinian Buhăescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
