It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 5th minute, but Vlad Jula got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Lelesti CSS hanging dry this time. Toader Sichitiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toader Sichitiu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bogdan Teişanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Nichifor Olteanu charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nichifor Olteanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emanuel Brânzaru struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Bogdan Teişanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lelesti CSS. When Lelesti CSS's Toader Sichitiu in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrei Trică got free with Vlad Jula in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vlad Jula made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Andrei Trică sent off a good shot on target. Costana CS's Bogdan Teişanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toader Sichitiu in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Emanuel Brânzaru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lelesti CSS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The Costana CS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lelesti CSS were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Toader Sichitiu to strike the kick off in the second half. Bogdan Teişanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toader Sichitiu in the 51st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Andrei Trică put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Vlad Jula. Emanuel Brânzarus short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Bogdan Teişanu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Costana CS! The referee gave Lelesti CSS a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sabin Toacsen, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Costana CS's Bogdan Teişanu. 1-3. With a little luck, Costana CS's Bogdan Teişanu got control of the ball when Emanuel Brânzaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emanuel Brânzaru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Bogdan Teişanu made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Lelesti CSS's zone, Andrei Trică stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vlad Jula came out of the goal and Andrei Trică tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute Andrei Trică shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlad Jula saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marian Popeangă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lelesti CSS's Vlad Jula played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrei Trică in the 82nd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Costana CS's goal looked a bit too open when Toader Sichitiu came free, but Bogdan Teişanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marian Popeangă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vlad Jula having to interfere. Costana CS's Marian Popeangă got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Martin Dincă charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Dincă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Costana CS booed when Lelesti CSS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Dincă didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute Andrei Trică shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlad Jula saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lelesti CSS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
