Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Lupoi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 6 minutes, Valeriu Angheluță managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ghindaresti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valeriu Angheluță was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mihail Magheran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Vancea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute of the match Ghindaresti got a corner. Old Boys's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vincentas Arvazas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ghindaresti's Vincentas Arvazas to fire away a dangerous shot which Mihail Magheran despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Old Boys's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when George Vancea scored to the left of an out of position Mihail Magheran, making the score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Old Boys's zone, Augustin Zgrăbunţa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mihail Magheran came out of the goal and Augustin Zgrăbunţa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Basarab Apetroaiei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Lupoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Old Boys's goalkeeper Mihail Magheran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leontin Doicaru. Old Boys's Mihail Magheran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Zgrăbunţa in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Valeriu Angheluță came free, but Mihail Magheran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Albert Boian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basarab Apetroaiei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Old Boys's Mihail Magheran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Old Boys from getting a goal against them. Albert Boian charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albert Boian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aurel Moșneanu hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute of the match Adam Bălanescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basarab Apetroaiei skillfully saved the ball. In the 39th minute, Ghindaresti's Augustin Zgrăbunţa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 42nd minute, Dragoş Otețea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With 45 minutes on the clock, Damian Cârstea commited a dangerous tackle. After some careless play in the Ghindaresti defense, Albert Boian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basarab Apetroaiei. The Ghindaresti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basarab Apetroaiei should have stopped the shot. Ghindaresti made a substitution. Camilo Del Cid replaced George Vancea. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Lupoi during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ghindaresti's Leonard Traian was substituted for Iordache Beșliu. Ghindaresti made a substitution. Jan Gondela replaced Leontin Doicaru. If Valeriu Angheluță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valeriu Angheluță struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Mihail Magheran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ghindaresti. After having played for 78 minutes, Camilo Del Cid managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ghindaresti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camilo Del Cid was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valeriu Angheluță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Valeriu Angheluță scored 4-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mihail Magheran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mihail Magheran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valeriu Angheluță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albert Elefterescu's late challenge caught a Ghindaresti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albert Elefterescu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ghindaresti booed when Old Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Elefterescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ghindaresti's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
