The referee ignored Jormanesti FC's protests and gave Nae Coman a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Jormanesti FC's Nae Coman got a free kick in the 6th minute. The supporters of Jormanesti FC booed when Miluani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sever Vizitiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristinel Cinteză hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Nechifor Atanasiu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 21 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the game, one of Miluani:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gabriel Şerban shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Miluani's Eric Tunaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurențiu Postelnicu in the 25th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Aurelian Lazăr kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eric Tunaru. That made the score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. Nae Coman struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Eric Tunaru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jormanesti FC. Eric Tunaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nae Coman in the 36th minute of the match. Cristinel Cinteză received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Florin Pătran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcu Popoiu in the 40th minute of play forced Jormanesti FC's goalkeeper Florin Pătran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Marcu Popoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miluani's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcu Popoiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florin Pătran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcu Popoiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristinel Cinteză was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes, Cristinel Cinteză mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Miluani and the Jormanesti FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Manuel Romulus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcu Popoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florin Pătran having to interfere. Miluani were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
