Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Doru Moisescu started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Petrică Baran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valentin Manea. CSMS Iasi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petrică Baran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 6thth minute of the game Gigel Feraru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chiliseni FC's Sandu Grama was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Dacian Brânzaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Doru Moisescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sandu Grama having to make a save. Anton Slătineanu hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Chiliseni FC's goalkeeper Sandu Grama had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dacian Brânzaru. 29 minutes into the match, CSMS Iasi's Dacian Brânzaru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sandu Grama narrowly saved just below the crossbar. CSMS Iasi were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Chiliseni FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vlad Baicu took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Vlad Baicu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sandu Grama quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petrică Baran in the 33rd minute of play forced CSMS Iasi's goalkeeper Valentin Manea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Irinel Mălaimare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petrică Baran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Manea having to interfere. Valentin Manea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Irinel Mălaimare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Petrică Baran came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Chiliseni FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petrică Baran couldn't finish the play. Dinu Dobre kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The CSMS Iasi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chiliseni FC were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Irinel Mălaimare made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Chiliseni FC booed when CSMS Iasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vlad Baicu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petru Bălășescu, 56 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Chiliseni FC's Petrică Baran got a free kick in the 65th minute. Doru Moisescu struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Sandu Grama didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CSMS Iasi. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dacian Brânzaru in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sandu Grama prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of CSMS Iasi booed when Chiliseni FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horea Braru didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Dacian Brânzaru sped through Chiliseni FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sandu Grama. Doru Moisescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valentin Manea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Irinel Mălaimare, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. CSMS Iasi's Valentin Manea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Irinel Mălaimare in the 90th minute of play. Valentin Manea was a little too slow when Irinel Mălaimare got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 1-2. Doru Moisescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The CSMS Iasi supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chiliseni FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Chiliseni FC.
