Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Manuel Melinescu kicked off to start the match. FC BOOM's Ilie Iorgu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save FC BOOM from getting a goal against them. If Rareș Manolescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Codrin Stamatiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 9 minutes of play, Gisteni's Codrin Stamatiu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ilie Iorgu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in FC BOOM's zone, Codrin Stamatiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilie Iorgu came out of the goal and Codrin Stamatiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Codrin Stamatiu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Ilie Iorgu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Panait Costache hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Gisteni's Virgil Piersic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rareș Manolescu in the 26th minute of play. Ilie Iorgu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Melinescu in the 29th minute of play. Virgil Piersic stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rareș Manolescu's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. If Sever Jdeica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rareș Manolescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sever Jdeica scored 1-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Virgil Piersic, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Virgil Piersic stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sever Jdeica's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rareș Manolescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Manuel Melinescu succeeded in the game's 56th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. An unexpected shot in the 63rd minute by Sever Jdeica got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Sever Jdeica struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Virgil Piersic didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC BOOM. If Rareș Manolescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 87 minutes on the clock, Adam Goma commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Manuel Melinescu's late challenge caught a FC BOOM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. One of Gisteni:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC BOOM:s goal.
