The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nehoiasi UFC! Dorel Bolcaș shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. A collision led to Nehoiasi UFC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Denis Măcrineanu hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Sever Jdeica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vali Apetroaiei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panait Costache in the 12th minute of the match. Petrică Elenescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ilie Iorgu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the game, Mugurel Găman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ilie Iorgu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 25 minutes into the match, FC BOOM's goal looked a bit too open when Petrică Elenescu came free, but Ilie Iorgu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC BOOM's zone, Mugurel Găman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilie Iorgu came out of the goal and Mugurel Găman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Marian Arapașu fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC BOOM's protests and gave Marian Arapașu a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes FC BOOM got a freekick which was hit by Marian Arapașu. After some careless play in the FC BOOM defense, Mugurel Găman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ilie Iorgu. The FC BOOM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ilie Iorgu should have stopped the shot. Petrică Elenescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilie Iorgu having to interfere. Ilie Iorgu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugurel Găman in the 44th minute of the match. When Dorel Bolcaș fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC BOOM's protests and gave Dorel Bolcaș a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Nehoiasi UFC booed when FC BOOM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorel Bolcaș didn't get a good kick on the ball. The FC BOOM players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nehoiasi UFC were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rareș Manolescu made a kick off. After 54 played minutes Mugurel Găman rounded FC BOOM's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. Mugurel Găman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ilie Iorgu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vali Apetroaiei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rareș Manolescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Sever Jdeica had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vali Apetroaiei. Nehoiasi UFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sever Jdeica was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 74 minutes into the game, Sever Jdeica was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC BOOM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nehoiasi UFC the free kick. Sever Jdeica kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After 79th play minutes Mugurel Găman shot 1-5, a short shot which went by Ilie Iorgu and just under the crossbar into goal. 82 minutes into the game, Sever Jdeica cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Vali Apetroaiei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Mugurel Găman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nehoiasi UFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mugurel Găman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilie Iorgu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rareș Manolescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vali Apetroaiei having to interfere. The supporters of Nehoiasi UFC booed when FC BOOM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rareș Manolescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC BOOM's Ilie Iorgu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save FC BOOM from getting a goal against them. Nehoiasi UFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
