Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manuel Melinescu started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petrică Elenescu in the 6th minute of play forced Gisteni's goalkeeper Virgil Piersic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Gisteni booed when Nehoiasi UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manole Zburlea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Virgil Piersic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petrică Elenescu in the 10th minute of play. A collision led to Gisteni getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Horia Hudiță hit a great ball. After 12 played minutes, Nehoiasi UFC's Virgil Cristescu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Virgil Piersic came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nehoiasi UFC reached it. When Petrică Elenescu came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Nehoiasi UFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petrică Elenescu couldn't finish the play. Denis Măcrineanu hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Vali Apetroaiei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Melinescu in the 19th minute of play. Virgil Piersic stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petrică Elenescu's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. The audience was convinced that Petrică Elenescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Virgil Piersic was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. 27 minutes into the game, Nehoiasi UFC's Mugurel Găman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Virgil Piersic made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to Gisteni getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Adam Goma hit a great ball. Nehoiasi UFC's Vali Apetroaiei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Melinescu in the 32nd minute of play. If Petrică Elenescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgil Piersic stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mugurel Găman's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Mugurel Găman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgil Piersic having to interfere. In the 45th minute Mugurel Găman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgil Piersic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Gisteni booed when Nehoiasi UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Vâlcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gisteni's Maxim Logofeteanu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 49th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Nehoiasi UFC.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mugurel Găman was the one to do the kick off. Virgil Piersic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugurel Găman, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Mugurel Găman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Virgil Piersic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petrică Elenescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Virgil Piersic when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mugurel Găman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgil Piersic having to interfere. Virgil Piersic didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petrică Elenescu went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Codrin Stamatiu kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Nehoiasi UFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
