The referee felt a red card was in order, 4 minutes into the game, when Ionică Vârnav put in a rough tackle. 18 minutes into the match, FCM Pascani's goalkeeper Nae Ciompec had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cazimir Gaciu. Mugur Bebeșel kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of FCM Pascani booed when Vargyas UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gică Pociu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute Nicu Voineag shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nae Ciompec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mugur Bebeșel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teodor Lechințan having to make a save. After 26 minutes of play, FCM Pascani's Mugur Bebeșel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodor Lechințan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Octavian Udrescu kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Nae Ciompec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicu Voineag, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paul Buligan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Teodor Lechințan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octavian Udrescu scored 0-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teodor Lechințan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mugur Bebeșel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodor Lechințan having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, FCM Pascani's Marcu Gheondea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teodor Lechințan narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paul Buligan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rareș Văduvescu's late challenge caught a FCM Pascani's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rareș Văduvescu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Vargyas UFC's Rareș Văduvescu got a free kick in the 51st minute. When Marcu Gheondea came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the FCM Pascani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcu Gheondea couldn't finish the play. FCM Pascani's Marcu Gheondea got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, FCM Pascani's goal looked a bit too open when Cazimir Gaciu came free, but Nae Ciompec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcu Gheondea struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Teodor Lechințan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FCM Pascani. Marcu Gheondea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Marcu Gheondea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FCM Pascani fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When Mugur Bebeșel, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 78 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Teodor Lechințan was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind FCM Pascani's goalkeeper Nae Ciompec, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nae Ciompec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gică Pociu in the 88th minute of the match. The Vargyas UFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FCM Pascani were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
