Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bogdan Giurgiu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Marian Mârzac's late challenge caught a Cornatelul FCM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marian Mârzac helped the player get up and apologised. After 2 played minutes FC Dya Bucuresti got a freekick which was hit by Marian Mârzac. In the 5th match minute, Cornatelul FCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxim Tăzlăuanu to maneuver through the defense. Aron Grigorie charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aron Grigorie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dumitru Buricea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Calistrat Ivăncioiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cornatelul FCM's Calistrat Ivăncioiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dumitru Buricea in the 12th minute of play. Viorel Moșneanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Giurgiu in the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Dya Bucuresti's goalkeeper Viorel Moșneanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Viorel Moșneanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Zâncă, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Sergiu Scutaru took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Viorel Moșneanu. FC Dya Bucuresti's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Calistrat Ivăncioiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dumitru Buricea in the 30th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Dya Bucuresti's zone, Fabian Zâncă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viorel Moșneanu came out of the goal and Fabian Zâncă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Viorel Moșneanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Giurgiu in the 36th minute of play. When Fabian Zâncă came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Cornatelul FCM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Zâncă couldn't finish the play. Cornatelul FCM's Calistrat Ivăncioiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Cornatelul FCM from getting a goal against them. Fabian Zâncă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Dumitru Buricea made the kick off in the second half. Fabian Zâncă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Viorel Moșneanu made a huge save. The supporters of FC Dya Bucuresti booed when Cornatelul FCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Grigorie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viorel Moșneanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bogdan Giurgiu's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Calistrat Ivăncioiu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dumitru Buricea went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Cornatelul FCM's Bogdan Giurgiu got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Calistrat Ivăncioiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Rada in the 79th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dumitru Buricea in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Calistrat Ivăncioiu saved Cornatelul FCM from getting behind. Valentin Rada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Calistrat Ivăncioiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bogdan Giurgiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viorel Moșneanu having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, Cornatelul FCM's Fabian Zâncă nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Viorel Moșneanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. When Maxim Tăzlăuanu fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cornatelul FCM's protests and gave Maxim Tăzlăuanu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cornatelul FCM's Maxim Tăzlăuanu got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Valentin Rada charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
