Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fabian Dan started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Zont's Maxim Minea got a free kick in the 4th minute. Iustin Hulubei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Eliodor Mitescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Zont's zone, Costel Lupulescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliodor Mitescu came out of the goal and Costel Lupulescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Iustin Hulubei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliodor Mitescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costel Lupulescu in the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, Zont's Vasile Oprea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Moise Macri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Iustin Hulubei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Eliodor Mitescu made a huge save. Narcis Ştiopul hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Eliodor Mitescu made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Iustin Hulubei sent off a good shot on target. If Iustin Hulubei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iustin Hulubei who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Eliodor Mitescu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Eliodor Mitescu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 39th minute Fabian Dan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moise Macri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Fabian Dan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zont fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costel Lupulescu in the 47th minute of play forced Zont's goalkeeper Eliodor Mitescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Zont were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Costel Lupulescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gigi Buteanu's late challenge caught a Zont's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gigi Buteanu helped the player get up and apologised. Gigi Buteanu hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iustin Hulubei in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eliodor Mitescu saved Zont from getting behind. 57 minutes into the match, Husasau's goalkeeper Moise Macri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vasile Oprea. If Fabian Dan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliodor Mitescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costel Lupulescu in the 62nd minute of play. Iustin Hulubei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Husasau booed when Zont was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxim Minea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zont's Eliodor Mitescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costel Lupulescu in the 74th minute of play. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Iustin Hulubei sped through Zont's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eliodor Mitescu. With a little luck, Husasau's Moise Macri got control of the ball when Vasile Oprea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vasile Oprea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Moise Macri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliodor Mitescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustin Hulubei in the 87th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the game, Maxim Minea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zont's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Husasau the free kick. Costel Lupulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliodor Mitescu having to interfere. Husasau's Costel Lupulescu got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
