The referee ignored Sfintesti AC's protests and gave Francisc Mazilu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sfintesti AC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Francisc Mazilu hit a great ball. If Vlad Ilica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sfintesti AC's Francisc Mazilu got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romeo Pătrășcanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcel Râmniceanu's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Vlad Ilica was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 95th minute. Real Madrid Romania's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
