Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Valeriu Nicodim started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Balateni AFC's Narcis Deliman got a free kick in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Vidican in the 7th minute of play forced Apateu FC's goalkeeper Aristide Gănescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Apateu FC defense, Valeriu Nicodim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aristide Gănescu. The Apateu FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aristide Gănescu should have stopped the shot. Aristide Gănescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manole Lamru went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. When Toader Sbârcea fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Apateu FC's protests and gave Toader Sbârcea a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Balateni AFC booed when Apateu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toader Sbârcea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aristide Gănescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valeriu Nicodim in the 21st minute of play. Ion Pădureanu hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Aristide Gănescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manole Lamru in the 26th minute of play. Valentin Nicodim made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Maxim Cercelescu sent off a good shot on target. Apateu FC's Maxim Cercelescu got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Apateu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manole Lamru came free, but Aristide Gănescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aristide Gănescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valeriu Nicodim in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valeriu Nicodim in the 39th minute of play forced Apateu FC's goalkeeper Aristide Gănescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Manole Lamru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aristide Gănescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 44th minute Valeriu Nicodim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristide Gănescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 49 minutes of play, Balateni AFC's Valeriu Nicodim made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aristide Gănescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Balateni AFC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maxim Cercelescu to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Apateu FC's zone, Marian Vidican stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristide Gănescu came out of the goal and Marian Vidican tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aristide Gănescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manole Lamru in the 59th minute. Manole Lamru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Aristide Gănescu made a huge save. Apateu FC's Aristide Gănescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Apateu FC from getting a goal against them. Valentin Nicodim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxim Cercelescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aristide Gănescu made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Gabriel Predescu sent off a good shot on target. 75 minutes into the match, Apateu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valeriu Nicodim came free, but Aristide Gănescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcu Jdeica kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Apateu FC's Toader Sbârcea suffered a sore thigh after 79 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Filip Ionițoiu fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balateni AFC's protests and gave Filip Ionițoiu a yellow card for diving instead. Apateu FC's Gabriel Enachescu was substituted for Toader Sbârcea. A collision led to Balateni AFC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Filip Ionițoiu hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Balateni AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Maxim Cercelescu came free, but Valentin Nicodim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcu Jdeica hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Alexandru Voinea, 84 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Apateu FC's zone, Gabriel Predescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristide Gănescu came out of the goal and Gabriel Predescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emil Domide in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valentin Nicodim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emil Domide in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valentin Nicodim saved Balateni AFC from getting behind. Marian Vidican took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aristide Gănescu. Apateu FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valeriu Nicodim in the 97th minute of play forced Apateu FC's goalkeeper Aristide Gănescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ion Pădureanu hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manole Lamru got free with Aristide Gănescu in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Balateni AFC played a much better game than Apateu FC and deserved their victory. The Apateu FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
