Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Petruț Ghiciușca started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Grigore Torouţ came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by FC President Arad's Felix Patriciu. But to his dismay, Felix Patriciu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 13 minutes into the match, FC President Arad's goal looked a bit too open when Petruț Ghiciușca came free, but Eliodor Aalexoaiei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If David Abagiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grigore Torouţ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Abagiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After having played for 24 minutes, David Abagiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC President Arad's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Abagiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eliodor Aalexoaiei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petruț Ghiciușca in the 32nd minute of play. Călin Diculescu struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Eliodor Aalexoaiei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racatau AC. 35 minutes into the match, Racatau AC's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Patriciu came free, but Grigore Torouţ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grigore Torouţ didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Abagiu went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. With a little luck, FC President Arad's Eliodor Aalexoaiei got control of the ball when Călin Diculescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Racatau AC's Grigore Torouţ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Abagiu in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The supporters of Racatau AC booed when FC President Arad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yens Englebert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Damian Chitimia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcel Tutunaru, 60 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. David Abagiu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Grigore Torouţ came out and tried to block the shot, but David Abagiu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 63rd minute. Racatau AC's Grigore Torouţ proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Racatau AC from getting a goal against them. Grigore Torouţ made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Felix Patriciu sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Călin Diculescu in the 70th minute of play forced FC President Arad's goalkeeper Eliodor Aalexoaiei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 minutes, Sever Bărnuțiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC President Arad and the Racatau AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC President Arad! Petruț Ghiciușca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute.
