Ionică Onaca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augustin Elenescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. If Romeo Ciorogaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC MAFIA getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Gheorghe Nicolescu hit a great ball. Octav Șeimeanu's late challenge caught a Ciao-Ciao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octav Șeimeanu helped the player get up and apologised. Ciao-Ciao's Augustin Elenescu got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th match minute, FC MAFIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Jianu to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Octav Șeimeanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Augustin Elenescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sebastian Baldovin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantin Zbuchea in the 19th minute of play. Codrin Văduva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionică Onaca having to interfere. When Ciao-Ciao's Augustin Elenescu in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC MAFIA's goalie prevented a goal. 28 minutes into the match, Ciao-Ciao's Augustin Elenescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ionică Onaca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th minute Augustin Elenescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionică Onaca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Ciao-Ciao fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Ciao-Ciao booed when FC MAFIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Jianu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Ciorogaru in the 55th minute of play forced FC MAFIA's goalkeeper Ionică Onaca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Jianu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, Ciao-Ciao's Augustin Elenescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ionică Onaca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 63rd match minute, FC MAFIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octav Șeimeanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute of the match Valeriu Proca shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ionică Onaca showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 65 minutes of play FC MAFIA's Octav Șeimeanu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 65 played minutes FC MAFIA got a freekick which was hit by Octav Șeimeanu. Romeo Ciorogaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionică Onaca having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, FC MAFIA's goal looked a bit too open when Augustin Elenescu came free, but Ionică Onaca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 74 minutes, Constantin Zbuchea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC MAFIA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constantin Zbuchea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ciao-Ciao's Moise Crușeveanu got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 82nd minute Augustin Elenescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionică Onaca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Codrin Văduva kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Sebastian Baldovin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Jianu in the 86th minute. Sebastian Baldovin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergiu Vornicescu in the 92nd minute of the match. After 94 played minutes Ciao-Ciao got a freekick which was hit by Viorel Milcoveanu. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ciao-Ciao had won after a very even match.
