The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marian Săliştean's late challenge caught a Dream Team Titan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marian Săliştean helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Meziad FCM's Marian Săliştean got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Răzvan Baican received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Dacian Borăscu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Răzvan Baican charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Răzvan Baican the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Meziad FCM's Răzvan Baican got a free kick in the 12th minute. Meziad FCM's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Matei Baicea scored to the left of an out of position Sorin Bivolaru, making the score, 1-0. In the 38th minute, Răzvan Baican left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Meziad FCM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 45th minute, Calistrat Tarchilă made a precise shot to the right of Sorin Bivolaru. Meziad FCM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Răzvan Baican was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calistrat Tarchilă in the 52nd minute of play forced Meziad FCM's goalkeeper Sorin Bivolaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Codrin Bușcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Sorin Bivolaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Meziad FCM defense, Iurie Bistreanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sorin Bivolaru. The Meziad FCM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sorin Bivolaru should have stopped the shot. Meziad FCM's Sorin Bivolaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calistrat Tarchilă in the 61st minute of play. Răzvan Baican sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Răzvan Baican managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marian Săliştean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dacian Borăscu having to interfere. Calistrat Tarchilă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calistrat Tarchilă in the 84th minute of play forced Meziad FCM's goalkeeper Sorin Bivolaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sorin Bivolaru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Săliştean in the 91st minute of play forced Dream Team Titan's goalkeeper Dacian Borăscu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dream Team Titan's zone, Răzvan Baican stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dacian Borăscu came out of the goal and Răzvan Baican tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dream Team Titan's Iurie Bistreanu got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dream Team Titan's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
