Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Soimu's Marin Rizescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radu Hrebenciuc in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferdinand Buznea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gabriel Burghelea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Rizescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 20 minutes, Mircea Goma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soimu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mircea Goma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Eusebiu Caraiman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Rizescu in the 26th minute of play forced Vinata AC's goalkeeper Gabriel Burghelea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Maxim Atanasiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the game, Robert Loghin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vinata AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Soimu the free kick. The goalkeeper, Gabriel Burghelea, was totally fooled by Soimu's Marcu Sima, who 30 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Mircea Goma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Burghelea having to interfere. In the 44th minute Petre Buhoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Buznea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The long shot by Marcu Sima in the 47th minute really tested Gabriel Burghelea's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 47th minute, Maxim Atanasiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Petre Buhoiu to strike the kick off in the second half. Vinata AC's Gabriel Burghelea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Rizescu in the 59th minute of play. Gabriel Burghelea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Rizescu in the 61st minute of play. Ferdinand Buznea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petre Buhoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petre Buhoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Buznea having to interfere. Ionel Trapcea struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Ferdinand Buznea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vinata AC. Mircea Goma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Burghelea having to interfere. Marin Rizescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Gabriel Burghelea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Alex Tilea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Petre Nasta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Burghelea was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Radu Hrebenciuc struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Ferdinand Buznea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vinata AC. Vinata AC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
