In the 19th minute, Avram Emilianu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Noul UFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pui the free kick. After 37 played minutes Noul UFC got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Mergea. Eugen Damian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iustin Albeanu's late challenge caught a Noul UFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iustin Albeanu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute Anton Petriceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Penaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Florin Vâlceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mihai Cozorici breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anton Petriceanu in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adam Penaru saved Noul UFC from getting behind. 63 minutes into the match, Emil Petcu notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Noul UFC's Adam Penaru. Adam Penaru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 68 played minutes Noul UFC got a freekick which was hit by Teodor Petran. Nicolae Răica was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 69th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pui's goalkeeper Mihai Cozorici, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Noul UFC's goalkeeper Adam Penaru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pui had played much better football throughout.
