Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Flavius Ionete got the match started through his kick off. Mădălin Macaneață charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mădălin Macaneață the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pui getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Mădălin Macaneață hit a great ball. Sabin Hurmuzache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Petriceanu in the 18th minute of play. Mihai Cozorici acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 19th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Mircea Macavei. After 25 minutes, Anton Petriceanu made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Birceii FC's Sabin Hurmuzache tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Birceii FC's Flavius Ionete slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mihai Cozorici. That made the score 1-1 after 29 minutes of play. In the 31stth minute of the game Anton Petriceanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Birceii FC's Sabin Hurmuzache was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sabin Hurmuzache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Petriceanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the game, Pui's Anton Petriceanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sabin Hurmuzache made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Emil Petcu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Petriceanu in the 44th minute of play forced Birceii FC's goalkeeper Sabin Hurmuzache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Flavius Ionete managed to get in a good position for a shot. Birceii FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavius Ionete was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mihai Cozorici breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Pui were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd match minute, Birceii FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandru Pancu to maneuver through the defense. Sabin Hurmuzache didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 59th minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. If Emil Petcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pui's Anton Petriceanu got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Emil Petcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sabin Hurmuzache didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 67th minute, which inside left pole to 1-5. Mădălin Macaneață hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Anton Petriceanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Sabin Hurmuzache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Petriceanu in the 78th minute of play forced Birceii FC's goalkeeper Sabin Hurmuzache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Birceii FC's Sabin Hurmuzache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Petriceanu in the 79th minute of play. Emil Petcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Sabin Hurmuzache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute Anton Petriceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabin Hurmuzache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sabin Hurmuzache made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Emil Petcu sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd minute, Ştefan Elefteriu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pui's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
