Vintila Teodorescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codruț Prisecaru in the 2nd minute of the match. Vintila Teodorescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codruț Prisecaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After having played for 5 minutes, Pavel Tache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC.Barcelona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pavel Tache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of FC.Barcelona booed when Molani CSM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxim Comăneci didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, İlke Elhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 14 played minutes, Molani CSM's Fabian Curta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vintila Teodorescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Molani CSM reached it. Alexandru Cornea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Catalin Sabau in the 16th minute of the match. Codruț Prisecaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vintila Teodorescu having to interfere. A collision led to FC.Barcelona getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Pavel Tache hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the game, Codruț Prisecaru lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Vintila Teodorescu. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Pavel Tache put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alexandru Cornea. Alexandru Cornea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavel Tache in the 29th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes Molani CSM got a freekick which was hit by Aurelian Stanomir. When Corneliu Iordache fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC.Barcelona's protests and gave Corneliu Iordache a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Molani CSM booed when FC.Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corneliu Iordache didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dorin Hâjdău's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vintila Teodorescu firmly grabbed it by the left post. FC.Barcelona's Vintila Teodorescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save FC.Barcelona from getting a goal against them. Molani CSM's Alexandru Cornea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavel Tache in the 44th minute of play. In the 46thth minute of the game Pavel Tache who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Molani CSM's Alexandru Cornea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Codruț Prisecaru made the kick off in the second half. Pavel Tache in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alexandru Cornea, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. FC.Barcelona's Vintila Teodorescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codruț Prisecaru in the 56th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Pavel Tache got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Abelardo Iyan managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC.Barcelona's supporters rose to their feet, but Abelardo Iyan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandru Cornea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vintila Teodorescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorin Hâjdău in the 69th minute of the match. FC.Barcelona's Pavel Tache got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cosmin Aldea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandru Cornea having to interfere. After 75 minutes of play, FC.Barcelona's Catalin Sabau made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandru Cornea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pavel Tache could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Alexandru Cornea made a huge save. Alexandru Cornea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pavel Tache in the 78th minute. If Cosmin Aldea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Catalin Sabau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexandru Cornea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavel Tache in the 86th minute of play. A hard shot 87 in the game by Pavel Tache from a close distance when the talented Alexandru Cornea managed to make a qualified save. Molani CSM's players were relieved. Dorin Hâjdău kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Catalin Sabau got free with Alexandru Cornea in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by Molani CSM's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pavel Tache was slow to take the kick. During this time FC.Barcelona's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on FC.Barcelona's corner Pavel Tache fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alexandru Cornea quite easily take care of the ball. FC.Barcelona's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
