FC RAPID TAROVISTE's Petre Chindriș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sever Zmeu in the 14th minute of play. Petre Chindriș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sever Zmeu in the 15th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Jupanu got a freekick which was hit by Maxim Negrițoiu. Fortunato Del Gatto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Vuia having to interfere. Fortunato Del Gatto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Corneliu Vuia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Petru Odobescu during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th match minute, FC RAPID TAROVISTE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petru Odobescu to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC RAPID TAROVISTE's zone, Sever Zmeu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petre Chindriș came out of the goal and Sever Zmeu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When FC RAPID TAROVISTE's Fortunato Del Gatto in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jupanu's goalie prevented a goal. FC RAPID TAROVISTE's Petru Odobescu got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Sever Zmeu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petre Chindriș. FC RAPID TAROVISTE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sever Zmeu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicolae Albu during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th minute, Nicolae Albu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Jupanu were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Fortunato Del Gatto made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolae Albu got free with Petre Chindriș in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Corneliu Vuia didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC RAPID TAROVISTE's Fortunato Del Gatto shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. 66 minutes into the game, Fortunato Del Gatto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Corneliu Vuia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adam Mihădaș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Corneliu Vuia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fortunato Del Gatto in the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fortunato Del Gatto in the 79th minute of play forced Jupanu's goalkeeper Corneliu Vuia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th play minute Nicolae Albu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Petre Chindriș. 2-4. In the 90thth minute of the game Fortunato Del Gatto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jupanu's Corneliu Vuia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Aron Goanță was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jupanu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC RAPID TAROVISTE the free kick. Although FC RAPID TAROVISTE had been in control for most of the match, Jupanu still came away with the win.
